Fix and Fit Limited is fully insured, including public liability cover, for all work we carry out. Details are available on request.

Prices on our website are starting prices. The final price is confirmed with you before work begins. Ad-hoc jobs are charged a minimum of 1 hour at the rate for that trade.

Materials, parts, parking and congestion/ULEZ charges are not included unless stated, and are agreed with you in advance.

Every booking requires a deposit to secure the slot: 50% of the day rate for full-day bookings, or 1 hour at the trade rate for all other jobs. The deposit is taken off your final bill. The balance is due when the job is complete.

You can cancel or rearrange free of charge with at least 48 hours' notice and your deposit will be refunded or moved to the new date. With less than 48 hours' notice the deposit may be kept to cover the reserved time.

If you book online you also have a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask us to start work within that period, you may be charged for work already done.

Our 24/7 emergency service covers plumbing and electrical repairs only and is subject to staff availability. We will tell you before we attend if we cannot help.

We do not carry out gas work. If you smell gas, call the National Gas Emergency line on 0800 111 999. If anyone is in danger, call 999.

We may decline or stop work that we consider unsafe, or that needs a specialist, permit or building control approval you don't yet have.

Please give us clear access, tell us about any known hazards (e.g. hidden pipes or cables, asbestos) and make sure you have the right to have the work done (e.g. landlord or freeholder permission).

If something we did isn't right, tell us and we will come back to put it right. This doesn't affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We are not responsible for faults in products or materials supplied by you.
